Up Rangitoto Challenge
A short ferry ride from downtown Auckland is this magical place, nature at its best, Auckland's youngest volcano at just over 600 years old.
We'll take you there to experience the stark contrast between city and the natural environment and lead you to the summit for spectacular 360 degree views of Auckland, the Hauraki Gulf and beyond.
The challenge will see all your team members summit Rangitoto. On the way you’ll collect points for answering questions about the flora, fauna, history and geography. And you’ll get bonus points for team work!
Score sheets will be counted and prizes awarded back at the wharf before the return sailing to downtown Auckland.
Time to connect as a group, get to know each other and accomplish the personal goal of reaching the summit.
This activity is suitable for all types of people. The hike to the summit is achievable for everyone and provides a real sense of achievement.
We have supported a 65 year old to the summit who'd had a heart transplant and a lady who suffers from MS. Nothing stood in their way or will stand in your way!
