Lyall Bay Surf Club
If ocean side location is your thing then you can't get any closer or better than this! Lyall Bay Surf Club's brand new headquarters is situated right on the beach at Lyall Bay. You'll be mesmerised and inspired by the ocean from your first floor event space.
The venue is as new as it gets with two clean, modern spaces which can be hired separately and work well for boardroom meetings, small conferences or presentations and indoor training and team building. If you're after something bigger, push back the walls to open up the whole space for large gatherings which would suit a cabaret or banquet style event or an informal party.
To top it off there's a large sunny deck and the beach is ideal for a whole range of fun team building activities. You can self cater here or let us organise everything for you.
Te Whare Waka o Pōneke - Wellington Waterfront
When Te Whare Waka o Põneke was officially opened on Waitangi Day 2011 it was the first time since the 1880's that the descendents of Te Ātiawa/Taranaki iwi katoa had a physical pressence on Wellington's waterfront.
This high quality function centre is super versatile with a large ground floor space for gatherings of up to 230 seated or 500 standing. You can flow out onto the deck overlooking the waterfront and set up in any style that suits your event. There are 3 additional spaces and a cool cafe overlooking the inlet with bean bags and umbrellas which you can book to eat, drink and relax after your waterfront team building challenge with Let Me Out.
If you're a group of 10 or 500 this is a great spot to get together.
Prefab Hall
Prefab is a trendy, inner city venue and is attached to the back of the popular Prefab eatery. It has a mezzanine floor overlooking the ground level. There is great flexible space with indoor/outdoor flow to a private courtyard with seating and space for your team building activities.
Alternatively you can play and team build at the waterfront and finish your activity at Prefab Hall for a meal and refreshments.
The venue partners exclusively with Nosh Catering & Events and can seat up to 120 guests at tables, 150 guests theatre style and 250 guests cocktail style.
The Milk Station
The Milk Station is a stunning 5 star venue with accommodation on the Kapiti Coast and less than an hour's drive from Wellington CBD.
